Have you been lucky enough to acquire the amazing Apple iPhone? Did you know that you could download movies, music and ebooks to it for your pleasure? I use mine everyday for this as I travel on the train to and from work each day. Despite Apple 's best efforts to thwart users creating iTunes ringtones for iPhones, a workaround has already been found and posted to the internet.A method of using iTunes to create ringtones for the iPhone using songs not purchased from the iTunes Store was first posted by Simplyfreeiphone.co.uk on Friday. Users confirmed after installing iTunes 7.4.1 over the weekend that the method no longer worked.However, a Simplyfreeiphone.co.uk post on Saturday details a workaround for the iTunes update, again allowing the free ringtones to be synced to the iPhone.When Apple first announced the ability for users to create custom ringtones earlier this week, it was meant only for songs purchased from the iTunes Store. Users would have to pay an additional 99¢ for the ringtone.Third-party applications such as Ambrosia Software's iToner have been updated to work with iTunes 7.4.1 and is available from the company's website.

Image-conscious executives who want to own the latest tech gadgets might put their companies at risk if they try to connect iPhones to corporate networks, warns an analyst To guard against such eventualities, IT departments should begin drafting policies forbidding executives from connecting their Apple iPhones to company networks, said Rob Enderle, a principal analyst with the Enderle Group based in San Jose, Calif. “The device isn't secure enough, nor is it designed to run with corporate systems,� he said. Companies spend a lot of time getting RIM and Palm handheld devices up to par so they can be secure enough to connect to company e-mail, he said. I never realized that I had a Sudoku Strategy until I looked around the Internet. It is surprising to think how such a simple game has built up such a huge following and is taken so seriously. Just a 9 square grid, where you place the numbers 1-9 without repeating them horizontally, vertically or in any of the 9 squares. It sounds easy but the puzzles come with varying difficulties.Apparently I use more than one Sudoku Strategy. I start out by looking for the 3 x 3 grids or lines with the most numbers already entered and then find the missing numbers by a process of elimination across the grids or lines. That is called 'scanning' and works well for the easier Sudoku puzzles. When I reach a dead end with the more difficult games I use a strategy called 'marking up'. If I have a choice of more than one number I pencil in the numbers in a corner and delete them as used. That works well for the easier and medium difficulty Sudoku puzzles.
