Sony Ericsson: creating game music for Java ME phones
2007-04-03 06:32:00
Sony Ericsson's developers page posted a new article covering the creation of sound in Java ME games. overview:Music and sound in gamingOn top of game play and graphics, there is a third variable which plays an important role in gaming: music and sound. Music and sound make it easy to add twists and variation and can change the mood of the player while still keeping the fundamental game style, helping engage the player in the game. When developing for the Java ME platform, it is important to keep file size and memory usage to a minimum, and to support as many different mobile phones as possible. There is ...

Points are scored when you create a line of three pieces. Four pieces in a line destroy the entire row and five pieces remove all pieces of the same type scoring bonus points in the process. When no further lines can be constructed the game is over. GemMagic comprises three games in one. In the relaxed mode you can continue swapping gems uninterrupted by any external forces. Timed mode cranks up the pressure as you need to swap as many gems within the allotted time. Frantic mode will send your ...

T-Mobile USA To Raise SMS Pricing
2007-03-23 06:01:00
It wasn't long ago when T-Mobi le USA last raised its SMS prices. February 2006 to be exact. Currently T-Mobile charges $.25 per MMS message. Once the rate changes take effect in June, the cost will drop to the same as that of regular SMS messaging: $.15 each. When messaging internationally things get a bit more complicated. T-Mobile will charge the same $.15 to send or receive international SMS messages as long as the user is located on US or Canadian soil at the time. If roaming elsewhere in the world, it will...
