Large corporate sites such as Budweiser, Toyota and Land Rover have setup exclusive web-based TV networks, broadcasting multiple shows of original content. Through this new web-basted TV network these companies only display their own ads and control the content that "airs" "What we're seeing is a return to the 1950s," said Dave Graves, chief executive of PermissionTV, a provider of Web TV services, citing the early days of TV, when companies such as GE (NYSE:GE - News ), Westinghouse and RCA poured millions into developing shows with the intent of selling TV sets. "TV was brand new and no one was making money. The programming was developed and paid for by the advertisers."
