The first rule of Fight Club posting on TFTS is never to post about something unless we have decent imagery so, without further ado, we?ll now act to show scant regard for that rule in offering a heads up concerning Sharp ?s new TL-M4600 and TL-M5200 professional HD LCD monitors regardless of the fact that Sharp have supplied no imagery of said monitors in any shape or form (an oversight on their part, we?re sure, as opposed to being any kind of an indication as to how they may actually look).

David Chacon?s Universal Remote Concept ? Uber Sexy Touchscreen Home Automa
2008-05-12 17:25:00
Invariably there will be those that will argue that, in ?merely? being a concept, this touchscreen universal remote conceived of by David Chacon has the luxury of being as desirable as it pleases in being wholly fictitious and constrained only by the designer?s scope of imagination, but to do so would negate the fact that it?s the concepts of today lead to the products of tomorrow and so are as valid a focus of our attention as any product that has successfully made the truncated path through from concept to commercially available product.

Newman M8000 PMP Offers Substance Over Style - Undoubtedly Capable Yet Deci
2008-05-12 00:43:00
A certain saying tells us that we must never judge a book by its cover whilst another serves to remind us that beauty is more than just skin deep and, whilst we subscribe to the sentiments of both, the plain fact of the matter is that, when it comes to Newman?s new M8000 PMP, we simply cannot ignore its wholly uninspiring (some would say ugly) design though, underneath that brash exterior undoubtedly lies a decidedly capable and not unimpressive PMP.

2008-05-07 02:44:00
We?ve featured a fair few gadget chargers and portable emergency power supplies here on TFTS but few have been quite as distinctive or as low tech as this wholly unpretentious (read as ?naff?) contraption from China that, rather than harnessing the sun?s rays or wind power for a free juice top-up, relies on simple pedal power (i.e., you working your nuts off) in order to charge up your gadgetry.
