5 Reasons to Buy the Apple iPhone 3G
2008-06-10 18:34:00
When the iPhone was introduced, I found it tempting … very, very tempting. But just enough features and capabilities were missing from Apple ’s initial cell phone offering that I held off on buying one. I wasn’t alone in waiting, but that doesn’t mean the first-generation iPhone didn’t sell well. In fact, the iPhone moved 6 million units worldwide, well enough to make Apple extremely competitive in the smart-phone market. read it here www.bspcn.com

He said that they are still working out the pricing details. read it here izreloaded.blogspot.com

AT&T declines on iPhone subsidy expense
2008-06-10 16:40:00
NEW YORK (Associated Press) - Shares of AT&T Inc. edged downward Tuesday after the company said it is subsidizing Apple Inc.’s new iPhone, a move that is designed to drive up sales but will reduce AT&T’s profit over the next two years. Apple unveiled the new version of the iPhone on Monday, cutting the price by hundreds of dollars, in part because AT&T, the exclusive U.S. wireless carrier on the phone, is subsidizing part of the cost. AT&T said the deal will reduce its profits by 10 to 12 cents per share in 2008 and 2009. read it here money.cnn.com

MobileMe: iPhone finally gets OTA syncing - for a price (updated)
2008-06-10 12:25:00
Ever since the iPhone was released a year ago I complained that it had to be cabled to a Mac to be synced. Here we had one of the most amazing mobile phones on the planet – with three radios (WiFi, Bluetooth and EDGE) – yet it had to be cabled to be synced. Apple fixed that problem today with a re-branded Mac.com service called “Mobile Me.” read it here blogs.zdnet.com blogs.zdnet.com

Hands on with iPhone 3G
2008-06-10 11:16:00
Yes, I’ve touched it. Okay, so maybe touching the iPhone 3G is not as impressive a feat as it was to touch the first iPhone when it was announced back in January 2007. But still, for the next month I’ve got one up on most members of the general public. With that in mind, let me tell you what I found. read it here www.macworld.com

iPhone 3G announced for July 11th availability, but lots of questions remai
2008-06-09 22:23:00
Wow, the WWDC keynote by Steve Jobs, live coverage here, went on for almost two hours with the first hour mainly devoted to application demonstrations for apps that won’t be available until July , September, and beyond. It concluded in the last few minutes with the announcement of the iPhone 3G that is priced extremely low (especially if you are outside the US) for a high end device with excellent stated battery life and fast download speeds. It was also a bit of a downer as the device won’t be available for another month. read it here blogs.zdnet.com

Breaking: Exclusive leaked pics of the iPhone 2!
2008-06-07 12:31:00
It wasn’t long ago that my inbox was full of screen caps from an image editing program of a new iPod, it was a fat yet small iPod that we now know as the 3rd gen Nano. We posted the photos and were later told by Apple’s legal team to take them down. A similar tipster tonight has very generously given us these pics of the iPhone 2, or iPhone 3G as some are calling it. Like the Fat Nano from last summer, the images come from Apple or AT&T promotional material that shows not just the new iPhone, but also gives away a couple secrets. read it here www.crunchgear.com

Wingnuts Moto Racer for the iPhone
2008-06-07 12:30:00
Our friends over at Freeverse have been working on a racing game (undoubtedly going to be one of a few released by different companies) for the iPhone called Wingnuts Moto Racer , but various NDAs, game mechanics secrets, and developer confidentialities have kept them from being able to talk about it too much, with us or anyone else. Still, demand has apparently pushed them to release something, and so they have posted this heavily-edited- with-red ink “review” of how the game plays. read it here www.tuaw.com

Hyperlocal iPhone App

A few weeks ago I read about the Mobile Connections thing happening at Supernova 2008. Although I read about it after the deadline, I decided to put together a concept anyway.
