Sweden?s Axis Communications once again demonstrated its technology lead by introducing a couple of months ago the Axis 212 PTZ, the world?s first pan-tilt-zoom camera without moving parts. In order to achieve this result they incorporated a 3.1 megapixel sensor and combined it with a wide-angle lens providing instant pan, tilt and zoom functionality.
