2007-03-25 13:01:00 When I first Got an IPOD. I jumped off my seats and said Kewl Gadget! . I was getting tired of seeing sony's walkman and diskman series. These were pretty pesky as they needed the "add-ins" to be carried around. The cds,cassettes were a real pain to be carried around. But Chirst! there was a revelation in the market. Apple + ipod what a good combination. Something really creative was its scroll interface,brilliant piece of engineering. I felt it was smaller in size and best part was that it could play songs at digital quality. I could drop it and it would still work. But all in all... I was not fully convinced that it was THE GADGET. I was happy to hear Steve Jobs saying it ran on Mac OS. It was great but where was the mac os. Where was the fun toolbars of Mac Interface. 2007-03-21 10:07:00 The Tata 's have done something superb.India's largest automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has signed a deal to develop a car which runs on compressed air, making it virtually pollution free.The deal was signed with MDI which is run by a former Formula One engineer, and has spent the past 10 years developing the engine.The MDI Air Car can be powered by an external compressed air pump or by an internal compressor running on petrol.The final car should cost around 1 Lakh Rupees and would have a range of around 300km between refuelling. The cost of a refill would be an almost negligible 180 Rupees.It would have a top speed of around 60kmh using air alone and 200kmh using an air and fuel combination engine.The car is made of foam and fibreglass but has survived official crash tests.
