AT&T Tests problems with data transmission in the network. All because of mass connection of users of iPhone. In first two days after the beginning of sales many did not pass phone activation, engineers have promised all quickly to adjust. I do not know, what experiences they have done, but yesterday the Western coast of USA remains as a matter of fact without Internet. However, one company is offering their services to take away some of the functionality of your precious phone. Who would want something taken away from their iPhone? Probably people that work for large companies that don?t allow camera phones. iResQ is now offering to remove the camera from your iPhone for just $100. While it sounds like a costly investment, it might be a small price to pay to actually have a decent phone that you can take to work. You might however, want to check with the security staff where you work before taking advantage of this service. Many companies probably won?t care that you got it removed, simply because they?ll have no real way to tell if the camera is gone. Bill of Materials by iSuppli: 8GB iPhone costs Apple $250 to produce

If you remember, we covered a story yesterday about a bill of materials done by Portelligent. They estimated that an 8GB iPhone would cost roughly $220 for Apple to make. Another independent firm has also done their own breakdown. iSuppli tore apart their own 8GB iPhone (everyone seems so eager to tear apart their iPhones) and came up with a figure very close to the one previously reported. According to their findings, the $600 8GB iPhone probably cost Apple closer to $250 to make. Seeing that the two companies came up with very similar answers means that they?re both likely not far off. Not many products on the market these days have such high margins. Granted, you still have to factor in costs for software, support and marketing. But remember, Apple is making a chunk of money from AT&T every time someone buys one, which drives the margin even higher. Well done Apple. Thanks to MyiTablet

Did you know you could activate your iPhone to use as Widescreen iPod and Wifi without contract? You do need to pay a $49.98 one-time fee. You have two options to activate your iPhone and keep it working as an iPod with Wifi. Option one: Faking Bad Credit to bring up GoPhone contracless plan. During the activation process, you will need to enter your sociual security number. Instead of entering a real social, try entering 999-99-999. It will then trigger GoPhone/Pick Your Plan option (prepaid). Pick the cheapest one available which is $49.98. After activation, you can take out your sim card and use the iPhone as widescreen iPod with wifi. Remember to cancel your prepaid plan. Option two: Cancel your contract within 30 days after activation. After your activation, you may cancel your contract without penalty within 30 days. The first batch of iPhone cases are crap shoot simply because some manufacturers didn?t know any better. The first problem I encountered relates to the sensor located right above the earpiece. If this sensor is blocked, the screen will not know to turn off when it?s being held up in proximity to your face. Click over to watch demo video. Of the three cases I tested, the Jam Jacket for iPhone by DLO has the best layout. Even though myIncipio?s dermaSHOT case blocks the sensor, it still functions properly because the material wasn?t completely opaque. Ouch! Apple iPhone with a Shattered screen

Ouch! So that’s what happens when the iPhone takes a real beating. The owner of the phone tried answering it while it was still plugged in, dropped it and watched in horror as it slammed into the corner of a table. Man, that’s rough. So far, this is the first truly broken iPhone that we have come across. What’s really amazing is that he took it to the Apple store and had a new one within minutes, free of charge. Damn, Apple, talk about customer service. This guy was fortunate enough to have Apple replace is phone, but I wouldn’t advise going out of your way to break yours and get a new one.
