2009-04-16 14:42:00 This is a great interview covering the new Department of Homeland Security report, the tax tea parties (April 15, 2009), and the shifts in support of the Patriot Act by many politicians. What type of Economic System are we heading towards?
2009-04-05 06:25:00 I have been trying to pinpoint it for a while. What do you call a government that does not eliminate the markets, but instead simply controls the markets with an iron fist? At first look, one might say we are just “regulating” capitalism. Sarbanes-Oxley is a prime example of this. While the law makes some tough ... Obama?s Stimulus Bill contains socialized medicine - In Full
2009-02-10 18:26:00 Wow, this bill keeps getting better. According to bloomberg, they are also including new laws that will financially discourage cutting edge treatments. Many of the provisions come from Tom Daschle’s suggestions: The stimulus bill does that, and calls it the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research (190-192). Coleman = Boring???
2008-10-16 06:34:00 I just saw an ad that was sponsored by the American Society of Anestesiologists that endorsed Norm Coleman . Nothing screams energy and excitement like getting endorsed by a group of anestesiologists. Nothing against Norm on this issue, but I did think it was an interesting endorsement. How to pay cash for your new car.
2008-10-14 05:21:00 I know this headline sounds like a cheap infomercial, but this is actually real. Surviving an Economic Collapse
2008-09-26 04:19:00 This week’s events have severely shaken the confidence of many in the U.S. economy, our currency, and world wide markets as a whole. Many politicians seem certain that times will get a lot worse. Even Jim Cramer and other uber-investors seem to be pointing toward a very bad time for our nation. This situation got me thinking. ... Mountain Biking Lebanon Hills Again
2008-09-22 05:46:00 On this trip, I re-challenged the monster log pile, and it bit back pretty hard. My bike nearly cleared the top when I lost momentum and hit a bigger log. This caused me to fall backwards down the jump. Fearing a repeat of last time, I tried to come down at more of an angle. Instead of recovering gracefully, my bike tilted sideways and I fell of the edge. My metal bike pedals dug into one side of my leg, while rocks dug into the other.
