Some engines call it authority when someone's site put up your link in thier site. Is authority about having exclusive knowledge over some subject that other people may not have? Or is it having a more complete view and deeper understanding.So lets say the knowledge can be shared and everyone can learn and use it, is the site authoratative anymore? What is the drawing power of the site? Can we say that the authority ceased to exist, becuase it can now be replicated by someone, somewhere?
