The Terra Cotta Inn in Palm Springs, CA has just 3 rooms left this weekend of August 24th and 25th. Two of the rooms are for Friday and Saturday nights. One of the rooms is just for Saturday night. Now we still have a few rooms left on the Thursday and Sunday, so you can make it a long weekend like everyone else if you so desire.Summer is beautiful in Palm Springs. We have endless sunshine as Palm Springs is the sunniest city in America. The weather has been beautiful. Sunny and low humidity. I for one am tired of reading recent news stories saying only old people go to nudist clubs and nudism is failing to appeal to the younger generation.There is a new story about this so called "trend" coming from Australia.We have been to Europe 7 times. When we have gone to nude and topless beaches in France and Spain, we have seen visitors from children to 70 year old people topless and nude. No big deal. No one says "yuk old people." When we have gone to textile hotels and go to the pool, we always see people from children to 70's. No one say "yuk, old people." (although many do say "yuk noisy kids.")When you vacation at our resort, The Terra Cotta Inn, we have guests from their 20's to 70's. They all have a great time and no one says "yuk old people."Yet, many nudist parks and clubs hold on to the old ways of markieting insisting on charging membership fees. Funny topless TV commercial on German TV

We've been to Germ an y 2 times and Europe 7 times. Like most tourists, when you are exhausted on your vacation before you go to sleep, you turn on TV even if it is in a foreign language.The one thing we noticed is in most countries in Europe that we have been to (Germany, France, Monaco, Spain, and the Netherlands,) we saw TV commericals where you would see topless women and male and female bare butts in national TV commericals. Now I do not know if they have nudity all day long or just in the evenings as that is the only time we watched TV before going to sleep.We have also been to England, Italy, and Switzerland where we did not see nudity in TV ads. That doesn't mean they don't have it, we just didn't see it.Speaking of watching TV, tonight after a busy day at the hotel, we watched World's Funniest Commercial 's on TBS.
