MACO is an unmistakably Caribbean brand that introduces people ? in the Caribbean and around the world ? to the wonders of the region, particularly its cuisine, architecture and travel destinations. Our people carry the blood of French, Spanish, English, African, Indian, Syrian, Chinese and other peoples in their veins. Recipe - Camembert with Papaya
2007-07-12 19:34:00 It?s Reci pe Thursday again. Here?s a simple, but tasty, dish for you fruit lovers and vegetarians. CAMEMBERT WITH PAPAYA - Serves 4-6Ingredients- 1 medium-sized papaya (not too ripe), peeled, seeded and cut lengthwise into wedges, about 1" thick. - Melted butter for brushing - 1 small or medium sized wheel of Camembert cheese Directions 1. Prepare the grill. 2. Brush the papaya slices with the melted butter. Place the papaya slices and the whole cheese on an oiled grill screen and place on the grill. Grill for 3-5 minutes turning once. The cheese should run out of the skin when poked with a skewer or sharp utensil. Transfer the cheese and papaya to a serving platter. Serve warm. More About: Recipes , Cuisine , Papaya
