American super group R.E.M are plaing in the Doctor Loft music festival in Empuriabrava, Castello d'Empuries on July 6th 2008. Also in the line up to play are, Akon , The Pigeon Detectives, The Editors and more. Tickets are avaliable online, and are still for sale at some internet ticket outlets. Ok, the show has finished. It's time to vote.Moving Wallpaper and Echo Beach were setting out to be some of ITV1's hottest shows of 2007-08. ITV has announced that MW and EB will be returning for a second series. Empuriabrava Easter Used Boat Show

This year the Used boat show in Empuriabrava will be early, held on the 15th through to the 23rd of March 2008. The reason for this, being that Easter comes early this year. This is the 20th anniversary of the boat show, so expect this to be the best ever. According to some websites, Moving is the sister show to Echo, but with Moving Wallpaper being on first it kind of could be the other way around. Echo to me is the stand out show, but Moving does have some great actors and the story lines are hilarious, Ben Miller being the stand out, a little bit mental Jonathan Pope.Echo Beach on the other hand is the show that really everyone wants to watch, being the new soap on TV, Moving just seems to be a filler for the first half hour slot. My wife dosent watch Moving, she thinks it has no reason to be on, but loves Echo Beach. Maybe ITV will change the format somehow for the next series, or as the old saying goes, if it aint broke, dont fix it.Please make your vote count, the Poll is to the right>>Both shows are on Fridays from 9pm.

We have been given a double dose of moving wallpaper and echo beach this week, the first shows being on late, but never mind. Also, lots of buzz on the internet about the mole and the whole Martine lesbian story, i think maybe some people think this is real.The show is moving on quite quick now, we are now half way through the 12 episodes, and i sure it wont be off our screens very long.You can watch some exclusive clips at ITV.com of the mole and preview of upcoming shows.Moving Wallpaper Episode 6 ITV Official PreviewTemperatures are rising, sex is in the air, and it seems Sams got soap fever when Jonathan catches her canoodling on set. I pay homage to the photographer of this video - Coldplay Clocks goes excellent with the video whoever you are.Coming to Empuriabrava in 2008 to SkyDive?Visit the SkyDive center in the heart of Empuriabrava, personally the pilot would have to jump out after hes just set the plane on fire, before i would throw myself downwards at 120 mph. Anyway if SkyDiving excites you, SkyRats is the home of SkyDiving on the Costa Brava.If you just want to visit the drop-zone, you can have a drink and lunch while you seem them floating downwards. The Easter Boogie is the first main event for 2008 running from the 20 March until the 24th.

This year, 2008, Empuriabrava is celebrating it's 20th year of holding the Easter Boat Show .The boat show is alleged to be one of the biggest held in Europe, which is held over the Easter weekend. Every year lots of main boat dealers bring out their finest selection of second hand Motor Boats, Sail Boats and Boating Accessories. The last show held in 2007 was the biggest one ever held, and proves every year to be one of the towns biggest attractions.The boat show is held outside the Club Nautic center, and most of the road is closed off to cars to enable pedestrians to have full and easy access to the Marina and Boats which are displayed on the main road outside the Nautic Centre. This year will prove to be one of the biggest the town as held, every year the show gets bigger and better, and with this being it's 20th year, it sure will be the years first attraction before the summer.

Boat Hire in Empuriabrava

If your visiting Empuriabrava this year and thinking of hiring or mooring a boat, you could not be coming to a better place. Empuriabrava is Europe's biggest inland marina with many Boat Hire companies, for a day, week or more. You can hire a boat to take a trip around the canals to view the beautiful scenery and fantastic water front villas. Empuriabrava has over 5000 moorings, with many available in the Marina, which is on the main canal and only a few minutes from the harbour entrance. So if you are visiting Empuriabrava or the surrounding area in 2008, boating in the area is definitely not a problem.Their are also many main Boat Dealers located within Empuriabrava, and every Easter, the town is home to one of the biggest Second and Brand new boat shows.

Are both shows working together?

After watching the shows now for 4 weeks, and letting the character and whole situation of both shows interacting, i'm not really sure if both shows are working together. Echo Beach seems to be the stand out show, and personally i think could do with being an hour long. This doesn't mean Moving Wallpaper is not a great show, Ben Miler is a great comedy actor and has stood out through the whole programme. I do like the way the shows flow in to one another, and the in jokes etc, but if Moving Wallpaper wasn't their in the first place and Echo Beach was an hour long, would it be more successful. I'm hoping both shows get commissioned for another series, but please make Echo more important, it really works. The characters are now showing their own, and Jason sure does look good back on our screens. Both shows are not even half way through yet, with 12 shows of both programmes scheduled to run.Watch the next episodes, Friday from 9pm.

The show will air on digital channel UKSTYLE, and begins filing in March. Im sure, Doctors, Schooling, Housing and Transport are high on your list of priorities. Their are many agencies who are available to help, not only will they help you get your children into school, but they will also help with, lawyers, mortgages, pensions and life insurnace. The shows get a TV Schedule Change

ITV1, seems to be a litlle bit worried, Moving Wallpaper & Echo Beach have both been put into a later timeslot. Moving Wallpaper is on at 10.35pm followed by Echo Beach at 11.05pm. It seems that ITV are not impressed with the viewing figures, please its only been on 3 weeks, why dont TV companies give a programme a chance. Well maybe this is a one-off, lets wait until next week.

Empuriabrava - Speed Camera in Operation from Feb 1st.

Beggining on February 1st 2008, the Police will be placing mobile speed cameras around Empuriabrava & Castello d'Empuries. The location of the cameras is not known, for obvious reasons. The police are trying to crack down on speeding motoristd in the area, and this is a message that we must respect the speed limits in our area.
