Have I Missed My Flight?
2008-01-10 18:07:00
It is usually a nerve-wrecking experience especially when you need to rush to the airport for your early morning flight or experience a delay which causes you to arrive late to your destination. I’ve experienced that before and it wasn’t a nice one. How I wished there were more affordable hotels within the vicinity of the airports so that I could stay overnight and need not wake up too early to catch my flight! It was very heartening to note that 8 airport hotels were located nearby the Sydney airport which is one of the busiest airports in the world, flying to many destinations like Kuala Lumpur, Singapore etc. What I like most about Sydney airport hotels is that they offer you last minute discounts as well as bookings up to a year in advance! Best of all is that the Melbourne airport hotels, Brisbane airport hot...

Fast and easy way to call home
2008-01-10 07:32:00
You are travelling halfway around the globe and the first thing you want to do is call your friends or even your loved ones to tell them where you are. E-mails would take a longer time to reach so I would prefer to get international calling cards to phone back. They are great for people who do not want to go overboard with their budget. They come in the prepaid format , giving you the pinless dialling option and you can even buy just 40 minutes of talk time! If you run out of credit, the cards give you the option to reload.

I want my ang pow…
2008-01-09 12:50:00
With Christmas and the New Year celebrations barely over, shopping complexes throughout Malaysia have started decorating their malls with a Chinese New Year look, complete with plastic cherry blossom flowers etc. The shopping malls have been “invaded” with rats too This is because, the Chinese will be celebrating the Year of the Rat in 2008! You can find practically everything with the “rat” animal sign e.g. cushion covers, ang pows etc. The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Chinese New Year would definitely be the “reunion steamboat dinner” and the ang pows of course.
Pain-free way to download website
2008-01-08 16:27:00
Sometimes, there are interesting bits of news or information that catches my fancy. The first thing that comes into my mind is to download it. website download is not a difficult thing to do but most of the time, when we press the download button, not everything is saved! It is usually the text on the website that is saved so you don’t really get to see the real website offline. It is definitely not appealing to me as I can’t see the entire website! Imagine! I am sure that if we can just save the entire website in three simple clicks and then browse it later, that would be fantabulous!

Messy Passwords
2008-01-08 15:46:00
I guess that this is one of the most prevalent problems that occur to us sometime in our lives! The inability to remember the passwords that we have painstakingly created! Most of the time, it means that you can kiss goodbye to whatever that you have created, be it an Excel, Access or even a Word password protected document! However, it doesn’t mean that there is no hope at all! Excel password recovery is now possible with a special program that has the ability to recover your passwords. By using some hacking methods : “ethical hacking” to retrieve whatever that you have saved is definitely a live-saver to anyone who is forgetful!

Safer Way To Surf The Net
2008-01-08 14:50:00
Is it possible? A safer way to surf the Net? Nowadays, people (including myself) surf the Net not only to check emails but also to do online booking for air tickets, hotel accommodations etc. It is therefore very important to make our transactions secure. However, we are also vulnerable to attacks by hackers especially if they are able to trace our IP address. While surfing the Net that day, I stumbled upon an interesting software that can hide IP address in a jiffy! With just a click (after installing to my PC), I can be invisible on the Net! It’s also a plus as I can also load the program to my USB key and use it practically anywhere I want! Check it out at:

Lip-Smacking “218: Mee Jawa” In Sungai Petani, Kedah
2007-12-31 09:36:00
If you do visit Sungai Petani, Kedah, don’t miss the opportunity to try the 218 : Mee Jawa located somewhere near the old clock tower! To me, this is one of the best Mee Jawa that I have ever tasted before! The gravy is simply heavenly and thick. 218 is actually the stall number and the stall is located somewhere near the 2nd Street “jee kei” in Hokkien. Just ask around for directions if you are still “blur” about the location. Hmmm… waiting for my next trip down to Sungai Petani so that I can enjoy the Mee Jawa again!     yummy…..

What!! Penguins in Langkawi!
2007-12-28 14:34:00
One of the places in Malaysia that I still like to visit (despite being there many times) is Langkawi Island. There are loads and loads of beach activities that you can enjoy. Nearby Cenang Beach is the Langkawi Underwater World. I’ve been there numerous times and I have seen many improvisations and now there are more fishes there and also the Rockhopper Penguins. They certainly do get all the attention especially from childrens who would gawk and wished that they could touch the penguins. Anyway, I do find the display of freshwater fish from the Amazon more interesting. There are many accomodations in Langkawi Island and my personal favourite would be the Mutiara Burau Bay (I must stress that this is not an AD). It is definitely far from the busy Kuah town but not too far from the airport though. I find the place very peaceful and relaxing. However, if you are looking for some fun at night, then it would be better if you stay at Cenang Beach. There are many accomodations locat...
A Time To Reflect
2007-12-26 21:38:00
In a few days time, 2007 will come to an end and we will herald the new year with joy with our loved ones. Sometimes, in the busy lives of ours, we tend to forget to tell our loved ones how much they mean to us. As trivial as it might be, people like to be pampered and showered with sweet words and thoughts, especially women! A sweet romantic love letter to your wife, a romantic candle-light dinner, holding her hands or even a holiday to the tropics like Malaysia could just be the key to reigniting the romance and eternal happiness in your life.

Truphone on Facebook
2007-12-19 16:28:00
I received the following message from Nick Vaux at Truphone (Software Cellular Network Ltd.) informing me of a new “free” telephone service available through the Facebook social/ web-community page. I do not have a Facebook account, so I have not been able to check out this service. From the email, I take it that Truphone partnered up with to offer a free telephone service that is available through your user profile. I am told that you can call landlines and cellphones (within the US/ Canada). In Nick’s email, it is not clear whether you can make calls to other countries. As I have previously stated, I have not used this services because I do not have a Facebook account. But if someone out there does use Facebook, I would appreciate it if you could try out this calling service and leave a comment below about what you think. I posted the email from Truphone below, so you have all the information that I do on this as well as instructions on how to use i...

Magnetic diet : weight loss programs which helps us to eat healthily and control out cravings is definitely a good idea to try out!
