Trip to Centro America . August 2006 I am in Centro America at the moment, and I hope to write about my adventures when I'm back from The French Pyrenees around the 2nd week of September. The main thing on this trip was too finally meet 'me old mucka' Antonio Blanco after almost 10 years without to see each other. We drove all around the stunning country side of El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras and stopped in beautiful places like Utila island or a fantastic small town near Tela-Honduras called 'El triunfo de la Cruz' ,where we stayed with the extremly friendly Afro-Caribbean 'Garifunas' community; We ve been also in 'Rio Dulce' [Izabal Department] in Guatemala and Livingstone near Belize where we tried to drive all the way through the river towards the coast, with the help of my friend's brand new 215 HP 'Sea Doo' watercraft. Our goal was to reach places where the Tourists never go.I have over 1000 pictures and some video footage. I will pick the best ones to upload her...

Coconut DF Live @ Brewerfest Lincoln Wolds, Lincolnshire 21-23 July 2006Coconut DF-Bosnia This last weekend there was a 3 day event festival in the beautiful Rolling hills of the Lincolshire Wolds. Coconut DF was headlining on saturday night, so it was time to get my weekend bag, my Sony Cybershot T-1, escape from the hell that is Madrid city this days and travel to Lincoln. I was warned there was a 'Heat Wave' in England at the time, but whatever it was going to be I was pretty sure it couldnt be worst than in Spain. And it was very hot indeed! So I decided to make my way to England on friday morning.Dave Fielding&Becky told me before about this small festival and his beautiful surroundings, and to be honest it didnt dissapoint me a bit. I didnt go to Manchester this time because I thought from Luton was easier to get to Lincoln, driving through Peterborough, Newark etc..you only have to get the A1 M motorway. The countryside wasnt that beautiful like the Peak District is I have ...

Delta del Llobregat Beach A Natur al reserveNatura l Park Entrance Plate. Airport belowThe Delta of Llobregat beach is pretty close to Barcelona city, driving there will take about 30 minutes in normal conditions. It's actually in the south, right beside the airport 'El Prat' on the way to Castelldefels&Sitges. The fact that it is fairly inaccessable and because there aren't the typical leisure facilities like bars, restaurants, shops etc... has kept this little oasis extremly calm and relaxed during the last few decades. It remains, without a doubt, one of our favourite beaches for its proximity, and lack of tourism [and annoying summer crowds]. Beach from TowerThe Llobregat river finishes his journey here, and right on its last meters we can find our Delta, which is also been a natural reserve for hundreds of different birds for years and years maybe centuries?. Mother nature is smart, here the river dies, but yet it brings so much life....And believe it or not, the waters are cl...

Canyoning in 'The Llech' River , South Fran ce [Gorges del Llech]. Fun!By this time of the year me and me mates Jordi&Liam we make our weekend trip to the south of Franc e to the 'Llech River' near a beautiful village called Prades. From Barcelona to the french border it takes about 3 hour drive and then another extra hour to find the river on the other side of the Pyrenees. Our main target is to make an outdoor activity called 'Canyoning' or 'canyoneering', in other words make the whole way down of a river through a bunch of natural clean water cascades, where you can throw yourself down through natural water made slide rocks, and also exciting dives 50 feet high in waterfalls [called 'Kloofing'] until you finally reach the bottom end.The Llech river is a fantastic route and once you made the first dive, which is about 12 feet high, escape out the sides of the river is not an option, so you really have to be sure and commited you want to do it because things will get more exc...

The Dancing Girl s &The 'Yamakasi' Park our Gang .Last weekend I spend 5 days in my beloved city Barcelona. Despite I work in Madrid since 5 years ago, I like to go and visit me old mates there, at least once a month. Summer is close and the sea always calls me by this time of the year. You cant avoid your mediterranean roots, can you?. So sunday afternoon, after a copious intake of Beer&food in Carmelo Hill, me and me old buddies decided to spent the afternoon on the top this little mountain in Barcelona where you can enjoy a fantastic and stunning view of the city. The fact is that this few hills arent normally advertised on the tourist guides, so that allows to keep the place still as interesting, less crowded and very relaxing as it used to be. [Not like Park Güell one really].So about 4 pm we decided to walk to the top to have a sit there enjoy the view of the city and have a good smoke&chat as we used to do in our (Long gone) teen days. On the top of Carmelo Hill there used to ...

Bryan Glancy. The 20th January 2006 was a very sad day. My friend Bryan Glancy [2nd from left] passed away in Manchester.Things will not be the same anymore. We wont forget you Bryan.Do not stand at my grave and forever weep.I am not there; I do not sleep.I am a thousand winds that blow.I am the diamond glints on snow.I am the sunlight on ripened grain.I am the gentle autumn’s rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hushI am the swift uplifting rushOf quiet birds in circled flight.I am the soft stars that shine at night.Do not stand at my grave and forever cry.I am not there. I did not die Mark Burgess&Brian GlancyLink to Bryans tribute blog site:http://bryanglancy.blogspot.com/

This is the strangest life I've ever known.” Jim Morrison&Van Morrison Whisky a go go -1965 "The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. Jim&Groupies Sunset strip LA 1967There can't be any large-scale revolution until there's a personal revolution, on and individual level. It's got to happen inside first. You can take away a man's political freedom and you won't hurt him- unless you take away his freedom to feel. That can destroy him. That kind of freedom can't be granted. Nobody can win it for you.” “Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free.” 'I think the highest and lowest points are the important ones. Anything else is just... in between. I want the freedom to try everything'."Some people surrender their freedom w...
