My Interviews & 1st Day In Bloomingdale
2007-03-12 08:42:00 Well, today is my first day at work with Bloomingdale. Seriously, I didnt know what to expect in the beginning. Driving here was a headache becoz the terrible jam. Push off at 7.45pm. I reach my new workplace a almost 9am. Seriously thought that I am goin to be late for my first day of work.You know whats funny? The funny part is after quiting Astro, I was seriously unsure of what I am going to do next. So, after surveying a bit, I found out that being an Accounts Executive (AE) seems rather interesting. So, I was looking thru newspaper (which you can hardly get any media related work there, probably they only publish once a year. hahahhahaha!!!) & browsing the net (thru Jobstreet & JobsDB). Found alot of event management stuffs which I did applied.But, none of it got back to me except for Marcus Evans which I wasnt very keen on becoz of how the interviewer sound like thru the phone. Honesty???
2007-03-05 19:54:00 Recently, I realized that I seriously have a problem about me being too upfront. Not everyone can accept or want to accept truthfulness. Its true what my horoscope says about me is that I am blunt, up front and honest and expect those around me to be the same.But, sometimes, being too blunt, I might not knowingly make people think that I want people to do what I say or tell them. I have never want it that way. Its more of my honest opinion but whatever you decide to do, its your choice. And, sometimes, I hurt their feelings. Sigh!!! Sometimes, I wish I can just control my big mouth. And, don’t interfere with other people’s business and let them make up their own mind and choices and to make their own mistakes. You know, at times, you see things and understand things where they might not, you thought you want to prevent them (especially people that I care) from the hassle or getting hurt in the process. Estranged's Album Launch Nite At Laundry Bar
2007-03-01 19:26:00 Was in Laundry Bar for Estranged 's Album Launch on the 28th Feb 2007. Met up with Andy, the drummer. Used to work with him for Hitz.Tv as some of you might know, he is also one of the VJ there.Unexpectedly, gorgeous Bel is there too....Bel is also the VJ for TOP 10 LIVE with Astro, Hitz.Tv. She is the MC for the nite. But, she was busy, so didnt get to take a pic with her before I leave. Next time, i guess.And, even saw some of my ex-colleague from ASTRO. Sigh!!! Somehow, I do miss ASTRO in a way.....Cool bunch of people back there; even my bosses.Took the opportunity to meet up with a few frens that nite. Sigh!! Another Chinese New Year has Passed! So, wat now??
2007-02-27 18:50:00 Wow!! Another Chine se New Year is ending soon. Chap Goh Mei is this Sunday. And, after that another CNY is officially over. Sigh!!! Damn fast, rite??? This is really make me think back on the previous year and just make me wondered ," so another year have passed so what have I accomplished?". Sigh!! I really dont know . Dont think I have accomplished much that I am actually proud and can be remembered. Sigh!!! Felt like such a big failure. But, I am still hopeful. I have still a another year. Another year to make the year 2007 , the greatest,adventurous, beneficial and memorable. I am being really optimistic and hopeful. Just sent my parents and their frens to the airport this morning for their flight to Philippines. Dont get me wrong. They didnt dump me alone here but I chase them away. I mean they deserve a holiday and they should be doing that more often now since I am no longer under their wings. They need a break. And CNY is no big deal to me.But, we had our reunion dinner here in my place last nite. We did SteamBoat and we all damn full by the time we finished and there are still many leftovers. Guess still tune in to Hong Kong timing, waking up really early in the morning. Sun rises really early in Hong Kong. Well, let me just briefly blog about my holiday. Left for Macau on the 6th Feb and we got back yesterday, 13th Feb 2007. 6 February 2007 (Tuesday) Our flight took off at 1.30 pm and we reach slightly earlier than the estimated time - 5.15 pm. We arrive around 4.45 pm. Was damn excited even when we landed in Macau International Airport. The airport was alright…Not tat big. Even LCCT looks bigger. Hahahahaa……Walking down the stairs from the aircraft and feeling the air in Macau the first time was ………. How do I put this….I was just expecting a lot…. Still In Holiday Mood!
2006-12-26 15:29:00 Just got back from Phuket. Sigh!!!!Arrghhh!!!! I misses Phuket..... I like it there... Alot..... Everything seems so easy going..........The beaches are spectacular..............How I wish I can stay longer. Oh, well.....back to earth!!! Life have to go on.............Back to real life in KL.Hmmmmm..............Oh, well.... I had a fabulous 5 days in Phuket.We checked in at a Guesthouse called "Casa Brazil". Its located in Karon Beach. Its really a nice place to stay in. All the staffs of Casa is just fantastic people...really friendly bunch of people. I would definitly recommend the place to anyone who is going to Phuket. The location of the guesthouse is also really convenient.
