The O belisk is one of Buenos Aires 's most prominent landmark built in 1936 on the site where the nation's flag was first raised. It is a popular place for celecrating victories of the Argentinian footbal team,political demonstrations and celebrations.A fence surrounds since 1987 to protect the monument from grafitti that is a sad reality to most monuments in Buenos Aires. Taller than Niagara Fall s, twice as wide with 275 cascades spread in a horsehoe shape over nearly two miles of the Iguazu River, Iguazú Falls are the result of a volcanic eruption which left yet another large crack in the earth. The Falls are shared by the Iguazú National Park (Argentina) and Iguaçu National Park (Brazil ).
