If you’re into Taiwanese food, this restaurant is a must try! Great ambience, good service, and especially cool desserts! Voted “best late night dining” in 2006 Reader Restaurant Awards, this is worth trying! Similar to its sister restaurant La Paleta, the service personnel sport a boyish clean type haircut (mostly women) which I think is their signature look. Korean BBQ If you love korean, this is a must try. They changed the location of the resto..now it’s near the aisle of Jeanswest in Woutaoko district. You should order the 120rmb set (5 kinds of beef)…that’s for 4-5 people already..worth the price! I hate cooking so this resto is a plus since you can ask the waitress to cook the meat for you…make sure you don’t go there on a busy hour

If you’re looking for the best Xia Long Pao in Beijing, you need to try this restaurant! For those not familiar with Xiao Long Pao — it’s like dumpling but inside the wrap is a burst of succulent sauce. A must try, it has been made famous by Shanghai cuisine. The restaurant actually looks quite nice! The posh atmosphere coupled with high class service will make your experience worth the while although your pocket will become lighter. But you won’t regret eating here! AND… To top that off, they have a mouth-watering mango ice dessert!

Happy valley in Beijing! Newest amusement park near the city. I expected it to be far but we arrived 40 minutes from Woutaukou, Haidan District. Entrance fee: 180rmb. We went there on a Monday so we were fortunate that the place was not crowded. Haven’t been to any Disney park so I can’t compare them. But I like the place because it’s huge! Talk about nice architectures. Pendulum –scariest I confess…I’m a chicken when it comes to rides..but one ride I enjoyed..the one in Atlantis (water ride) and the Crystal wind where we rode like superman!
