Airforce pilot Zhai Zhigang, 42, became the first Chinese astronaut (yuhangyuan) to walk in space as he emerged from his Shenzhou VII spacecraft and waved a Chinese flag on a 15 minute spacewalk broadcast live on national Chinese TV. With traffic on Beijing ?s previously overcrowded roads now moving freely there has been much debate about the idea of keeping the odds and evens vehicle use law in place permanently. Website forums are awash with tens of thousands of people debating the traffic regulation.
