The Legend of Spyro

Another Play Station games mobile counterpart and fortunately it's a very good one. The Legend of Spyro: A new beginning is the latest installment of the Spyro series. The game's hero is the little purple dragon named Spyro who's out on a quest to free 4 captured Guardian dragons, each one guarding a specific element: fire, ice, earth and electricity. The guardians were imprisoned by an evil dragoness named Cynder in order to harness their power so that she may open the Dark Master's prison and bring terror throughout the land.Thus our little hero and his dragonfly brother Sparx set out on their adventure. The game features a terrain theme for each of the guardians elements, as well as 3 different types of levels: ground levels played in a platform style, boss levels where Spyro must defeat a mini-boss in order to free a guardian and air levels which represent the transitions between the other 2 types of levels, where Spyro needs to fly from one end to another avoiding obstacles...

Doom RPG

One of the best 3d games currently available for mobile phone games. If you loved good old Doom on the PC or if you've played Orcs and Elves then you're sure to like this one.Doom RPG is a 3d, first person turn based shooter based on the Doom universe, featuring many of the specific monsters and weapons from that universe. The basic story: you're a marine, some evil alien monsters have invaded and you need to shoot them out of existence. Or if you're a little more suicidal and psychotic like I am, you can always use your trusty hand axe.I'm going to make a lot of comparisons between Doom RPG and Orcs and Elves throughout this review for a few basic reasons: both games use the same 3d engine, both have the same gameplay style and level up system. So just like in Orcs and Elves, upon level up your character automatically gets his stats improved by a seemingly random chosen number of points. However for the sake of customization you are allowed to improve whichever stats you want ...

A lot of people might ask themselves this.Now everyone has their own preferences when it comes to what they want their phone to be able to do, some need a long battery life so they can talk a lot without recharging it, others need a slim easy to carry around device, others need great sound so they can listen to their favourite mp3s and some people, like me, want a device that they can enjoy a lot of different and fun games on.The most important factors when deciding on a phone you want to use for gaming are:screen sizehardware performanceergonomicscompatibilityIn my opinion screen size and hardware performance are two really important factors when it comes to enjoying the game you're playing. Everybody loves a good war. Well at least that's how it seems these days. So it's time to get your rifle, put on your uniform and army boots and go fight for your country.Call of Duty is a pretty well know franchise when it comes to PC gaming, and these days everytime a PC game comes out, it's immediately followed by a cell phone version. The only things the PC and cell phone version have in common though are the name and the basic gameplay idea. The game takes you through 8 missions in different parts of the world, taking part in military actions as part of an assault team.This game wants really badly to add a more strategic side to the classic platform shooter but doesn't quite cut it. Besides shooting, sniping and the occasional targeting of an artillery strike, you're also supposed to use the terrain to your advantage by taking cover behind sandbags or crates or what not. Shrek the Third

Think of it like Mario, only green and on steroids. That's what this games is about after all. You remember how fun Mario was don't you?Well Shrek can do so much more. He can punch, he can dash, he can jump, he can roll like Sonic, he can throw cannonballs and use them to interact with the environment but most importantly, he can collect faeries! Well that's only important because collecting 100 of them means a extra life for Shrek.And of course as you would expect Shrek is not alone, Donky, Prince Arthur and Puss in Boots is with him, giving advice and making funny remarks throughout the whole game. Also another very important character in the story is Dragon, whom you get to play in the games air levels. Orcs and Elves

A long time ago a great war took place between two great alliances: the alliance of the dwarven and elven peoples and the alliance of the orcs and Vaettir. During this war two great heroes rose up to meet the evil orcs, an elf named Eol and a dwarf named Bhram. Each of them were gifted with a magical artifact to aid in their struggle, the elf was gifted a magic Wand and the dwarf a magic Hammer. Their friendship lasted long after the war was over and the elves and dwarves had won.The game puts you in the position of a half-elf named Elli, the son of Eol. After your fathers death and after inheriting his magical Wand you are sent to investigate strange messages received from the kingdom of the dwarves.After arriving at the dwarven city you realize that most of the dwarves are dead and the place is full of monsters. Rollercoaster Rush 3d

A very addictive little game, a lot of fun too. I can say that I've played it for hours today and hardly even realized that so much time passed by. The goal of the game is simple enough, you only use two keys to control the coaster, one is to accelerate and the other to brake. You need to give the coasters passengers the ride of their lives through the track, while making sure that they keep their lives as well, since a few wrong moves, too much speed or a wrongly calculated angle can lead to the cars of the coaster crashing and your beloved passengers dying (well not really, they fall off the track and open their parachutes).While playing the game your performance is ranked by the amount of thrill you give your passengers, and of course the more are left standing the more points you get since you make more people scream with joy. Each trip you take them on is ranked from 1 to 5 stars according to this, the more stars per total on each track you have the more tracks you can unlock....

Now this is one of my favourite games. It's like Heroes of Might and Magic only for mobile games. A turn based strategy that has a lot to offer.The first thing to note is that just like in HoMM your army is led by a hero who can level up and cast spells during combat. The hero's name is Ortega, he's a famous retired necromancer who is asked for help by a group of gnomes against the evil undead that are beginning to plague the land. Which seems a little odd since necromancers are supposed to make undead armies, not fight against them, but oh well, I guess they chose necromancer because it sounds cool and because of the old saying "fight fire with fire".The game features a map where you can move your hero in order to fight the evil undead armies or in case you spot human troops when you move towards them you can recruit them. There are also dialogue options when talking to certain NPCs that could lead to anything from getting attacked, to getting a reward or a quest. These dialogue...

Strip Club Manager

This little mobile game puts you in the role of a manager owning your own fancy (or not so fancy) strip club. The game actually features 3 clubs, 2 of them locked, which you have to manage one after the other: Eden's Paradise, The Fantasy and Pink Kitten.The objective of the game is of course to make money, while also keeping your customers happy, since general customer satisfaction is what enables you to buy better furniture or dancing poles or anything else you think your club might need. There's also the possibility to hire a dj and a bodyguard, along with one of the 6 featured girls, each of them appealing to a different kind of costumer and dancing in their own way on their distinct music track. It's nice that the game has this "match-up the girl with the customer" part because it keeps your interest going to see how each girl dances and on what music.
