Ganked: gnome warlock

After looting Razortalon, on my way back to Revantusk village, I spotted a gnome warlock. I stealthed in and waited for him to engage a mob. But he just sat there, he wasn't AFK. I thought he might be bait but I did not notice any other allies around. So I went in for the kill.He had no chance. I hate gnomes and I hate warlocks.I know what you're thinking, "this is why ganking is so rampant". WHATEVER! I played it clean until my main leveled to 59. AND I still got ganked regularly, so don't lecture me. I would regularly pass on lowbies while I was questing only to have the ally call up his lvl 70 guildie to come gank me and get some free honor.Every single ally I see, regardless of level I will now gank. AND when I get to 70 I will do this ahead of farming, just out of spite.

With my rogue I found him in the Hinterlands. Razortalon dropped a couple of greens, nothing spectacular. Anyone else noticing rare spawns showing up more often since the patch?

Found this guy in the Bone Wastes in Terokkar Forest. While chopping down infested trees I spotted him. Dropped fairly easily and looted a nice blue ring. Dragon Bone Ring of the Invoker but I had a better one anyways. DE for a nice shard.

Computer problems, no WOW tonight :(

It can be incredibly frustrating when you computer goes on the fritz. Is it this? Is it that? You almost want to pick up your computer and throw it across the room (but don't!). Let me explain what happened ...It all started out rather innocently. I was tired of the IE7 look so I decided to download Firefox, since I like it and I use it at work. Tried going to the site and I got this error message.WTF? I can go to Yahoo, I can go to MSN, why not Mozilla? I'm no dummy, I consider myself an advanced user. I did not install any new programs. I've never had problems surfing the net before (although I never tried going to Mozilla before). Another computer on the network had no problems going to those sites. I go through the checklist: firewall, Internet security settings, IE7 filtering, programs running in the background, anti-virus, and spyware/malware. All of this is taking away from my precious leveling time.The firewall is not blocking it, I turned it off and even un-installed it....

Wow, I can't believe I've done 100 posts. On the other hand my main is only a lvl 65 mage, rogue 44, pally 32, hunter 49, warrior 14 (AH mule). Damn, I got too many toons. Sometimes you get bored playing the same character, you need a bit of variety.Finally ran Ramparts the other night. Finished that quest Weaken the Ramparts. Didn't pick up anything useful, only died once. A difficult instance for Outland noobs. We had two 65's, 63, 62 and a 59. Definitely not something you want to run with a group of 59's.

Gnome?! WTF?

Ok, so by now you've probably enjoyed the costumes and Halloween theme on World of Warcraft. Here's a few shots of my mage dressed up as a gnome. Despite my feelings towards Alliance Gnome s the costume is hilarious. Dancing is their saving grace. Poor little buggers! I still don't hesitate to fire blast them into oblivion.My rogue was turned into a human ghost and when stealthed is almost invisible. Will post pics of that tomorrow.

Finally dinged 64. Only after completing a few quests in Hellfire and a bunch in Zangramarsh. Geez, I'm really not liking this whole leveling thing after 60. I got to learn Arcane Blast and Flamestrike (rank 7), weee. 2 spells which probably won't use since my action bars are fully loaded.

Your first few talent points should go to Improved Fireball.If you're a frost mage then Improved Frostbolt.Arcane - Improved Arcane Missles.These talent point assignments are meant to help you kill things faster thus increasing your XP/hr which will level you faster.

Hellfire: 70 takedown!

I was questing in Hellfire with a 63 Undead warrior and a 70 Night Elf warrior tried to take us down. Instead of coming after me (cloth wearing weakling) dummy tries to go after the warrior at 75% health. He was also using some lag hack. Anyways the warrior keeps hamstringing him, I keep Arcane missile, Fire blast, pop a quick POM and Pyro, then finish him with a final Fire blast. Voila! Level 70 takedown. Truly embarrassing, I felt bad for him.

Lag, crash, boom!

Anyone else get lagged last night? Around 10:20pm (EST) NPC's, mobs, players disappeared. Everything got really laggy. Could it have anything to do with the recently implemented voice chat? General chat still worked so plenty of fellow players voiced their displeasure. I got this error when I tried to log back in after ALT-F4.

This must be a downer for hard core Halo fans. Some reported the discs being scratched by the packaging of limited edition copies. Angry bloggers flooded the Internet with their displeasure. Microsoft acted quickly to remedy the situation with instructions for speedy replacement discs. Were you crazy enough to line up at midnight to get yours?

The storyline in the single-player game is as convoluted as ever. Microsoft has asked reviewers not to disclose more than a dozen elements of the plot. Suffice to say, the alien Covenant has invaded Earth, where a huge artefact has been discovered in Africa. Master Chief is trying to save the planet. You are on the move from the get-go. The pace of the single-player game is rapid and the enemy is everywhere, as befitting humanity's last stand.Better vehicle controls, more weapons, smarter AI, overall a better gaming experience. What are you waiting for?

Stumbleupon this story about some idiot who spent 7000 Euro on lvl 70 Night Elf Rogue. Long story short he ends up getting nothing. Should he sue? What recourse does he have? I'm sure the seller is laughing all the way to the bank.What's your opinion? Should Blizzard be more flexible when it comes to trading characters?

3 days of gaming = death

Some people just don't know when do quit. This guy over in China died after a 3 day gaming binge. The 30 year old fainted in the Internet cafe and pseudo-medics were unable to revive. No word on what game he was playing. After his death many regulars left the cafe out of fear. Hopefully they are re-thinking their life goals. "Hmm, Gold Farmer doesn't sound so good now."

I've also posted a screenshot of Helcular's Remains, the Helcular's Revenge quest in Hillsbrad where you light the 3 torches and touch his grave, then he rises and goes around killing everything in Southshore. Took closeups of him and one of him in battle. Let's see how long it takes to get posted on Thottbot.
