Mechanical Yeti
2007-09-17 15:45:00 Yay! Thottbot posted my screenshot of the mechanical yeti. As you can tell it takes awhile for screenshots to get posted. I still have my first mount in the picture. I've got my lvl 60 mount now and it's super fast. Can't wait for flying and epic. More About: Mechanical , Mecha , Mechanic , Mech , Chan
Silithus: done
2007-09-14 18:26:00 Ok, ready for the Outlands. Got ganked by a 70 Night Elf Druid (added to my shit list). Again I ask, "Why are ally's such dicks?" Finished there, had to go to the Moonglade to turn something in, while I was there I was going to try to gain some reputation with Timbermaw Hold but another ally jerk decided to gimme some grief. Lvl 70 human mage and his little buddy 55 human mage. So I'll be heading to the Outlands, ganking any lowbies along the way. More About: Done
Silithus
2007-09-13 17:38:00 I was questing in Silithus with a 61 undead warrior and 70 night elf druid stealthed and tried to take us. I waited for a bit until I figured he had got close enough then I started spamming arcane explosion. I should have used rank 1 but I didn't have time to drop it into one of my hot keys (it is now though). Hit him with one and he unstealthed. The warrior charged him. Long story short, we took him down with a final arcane missile which hit him as he tried to run away. The warrior died but at least he died too. He came back, probably because he was pissed, ran off, healed up and tried to come after us again. We just mounted up and took off, no point in wasting time.

NFL kickoff!
2007-09-07 18:12:00 Ok, I know what you're thinking: what does the NFL have to do with WoW. Well nothing directly. With the start of the new season this will translate into less gaming time for myself. Instead of my relaxing Sundays playing battlegrounds or farming I will be parked on my couch watching doubleheaders and clutching my gambling tickets. OR over at a friend's house losing money at texas hold'em while being distracted by an NFL game in the background. Arrggg! MUST LEVEL! More About: Kick

AV, Blasted Lands,
2007-09-04 19:30:00 Alterac Valley - played 3 times. Wait times were long, but "HORDE WINS" every time, so the honor points were worth it. First game was insane, picked up 20 kills in the first 10 minutes, but nothing after than since we spent the rest of the time working on the bosses. I was #9 in damage and #5 in damage. The third game I only played the last 5 minutes.Blasted Lands - completed a few quests, passed by the Dark Portal. Debated whether I should jump in and head to Shattrath. Ended up just questing on the
Pet Yeti!
2007-08-31 16:36:00 Here's my pet Yeti from the Are We There Yeti quest chain. Too bad this wasn't a repeatable quest. 3 charges doesn't seem like enough. Careful, he may look small but this little guy will bite your ankles.
You have an open ticket.
2007-08-31 16:17:00 So here are chat details of my whole Rig Wars bug which was quickly resolved by 2 GM's. Corriliss was the first level support. Ran me through a few tricks but didn't fix the problem. Very helpful and friendly. He forwarded me to character specialist, Thorndann. I guess it's a known bug because he immediately recognized the problem. Something to do with high level characters doing this quest. Anyways he took care of the problem and mailed me the item I needed. All in all a good experience. I was expecting hours of waiting in queue but I occupied myself with a bit of fishing. In chatting with these GM's I got the feeling they weren't the "run-of-the-mill" tech support guys I was used to dealing with. These guys are gamers too and they know how frustrating bugs can be. Considering the number of tickets they go through in a day, I'm thankful I got such courteous and humorous responses. It's not easy being in tech support, remember that next time you need to open a ticket. More About: Open , Ticket , Tick
Level 60!
2007-08-31 16:07:00 Ding! Whee! Allocated my talent point and rode off to the flight master. Wait a minute! I'm a mage, why waste time riding there? Took a quick screen shot of my pet Yeti, whom I had summoned to help me fight the Gorishi Queen (Pawn captures Queen). No I didn't do it by myself, I am not that "l33t", sadly. Port to Undercity.New spells! Oh, training costs, boo! I watched as my carefully hoarded gold dropped by 40. Ouch. Ok, NP, still got over 1k. Off to Brill!HOW MUCH FOR JOURNEYMAN RIDING?! GODDAMN! Picked up a Green Skeletal Horse. Man he's fast! I guess that was hi-note after spending so much on training. Well I guess it's back to farming herbs. I am not looking forward to shelling out for my epic.
Rig Wars: bug
More articles from this author:2007-08-30 17:37:00 Remember how I said I was going to try Gnomeregan? Well funny thing ...I was going to go back and try the Rig Wars quest but I was unable to get the transponder from Scooty in Booty Bay, because Sovik back in Orgrimmar wouldn't give me the quest! I opened a ticket and eventually a GM forwarded me to a character specialist who mailed me the item I needed. I expected the service to be terrible but it was excellent. Will post screen shots of the chat also will post to the official site thanking the 2 GM's.BTW: I made it to the final room with little problems but once I opened the door there were two 32/33 elites plus about 6 - 8 regular 30's. Suffice to say old "clothy" didn't last long against them. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 |
