I bought a Sega Saturn because Segata Sanshiro told me so

Many people have asked me, why did I buy a Sega Saturn when there is a Playstation out already back in 1997. And I only answer is, Segata Sanshiro !!!Segata Sanshiro is an ingenious ad campaign by Sega to promote their Sega Saturn console when they were competing with the Playstation. He is basically a Japanese man in a white gi that goes around town kicking ass of those people that doesn't play Sega Saturn. Now you know why I was afraid.I will punish those who play badly. OMG, this is huge. Check out the new game play footage as well as the trailer for the upcoming sequel of NiGHTs. Set to be released by November 2007, this could really be the biggest game of the year. Too much traffic ? BioShock servers went down

Apparently, the patch servers for BioShock is down leaving gamers frustrated and unable to start playing the game. BioShock requires a patch update before it can be played.I've tried going to 2K's main site to see if there are any press released but it seems that their official site (www.2kgames.com) is down too.Looks like gamers will have to wait while their fixed whatever was wrong. Keep your fingers crossed !

Bioshock is out !!!

Great news ! Bioshock was released on the 21th of August 2007.For those who are clueless, Bioschock is the latest FPS for the Xbox 360 and PC with superb game play. Mainly is due to the weaponry systems, besides the traditionally guns and bullets, the coolest feature of this game called Plasmids.Plasmids are special power like telekinesis, lightning and the ability to freeze your enemies. With telekinesis, you could actually stop the incoming missiles or bullets and throw it back to your enemies. Its just like Jean Gray from X-men !

Knife, Sword and Armor for your Wii !!

I was out today to the local videogames store and I saw this pretty cool props for the Nintendo Wii . There is a Knife , Sword and Armor to be used like a Wii controller.I guess its pretty fun with the Zelda game as it will give you a more realistic feel.Really neat gadget but I hope the workmanship is good or Nintendo should release on like that soon cos' its gonna sell !Just don't get hurt or hurt anyone.

As the Beijing Olympic s draws closer, we can expect quite a number of Olympics Games titles to be released quite soon. But none of them beats the hype of the ultimate match-up ever , Mario and Sonic .The game is slated to be released at the end of the year, November 2007 to be precise. However, only owners of the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS will be able to get hold of this game. Gameplay that includes the Wii Remote and the DS's touch screen is very much expected from the game.The game was announce during April Fool's day and folks I assure you that this is NOT a joke !Here are some screenshots from the DS versionHonestly, I don't really like Tails. Too cocky !

"Heroes" TV Series to Videogame

Here is some interesting news. Ubisoft has annouced that they will be making a "Heroes " game. The platform is still undisclosed at the moment. Well, this is not the only series that they are planning to make, "Lost" is in the list of latest adaptation by the French publisher. Way to goUbisoft

Geez...another one from Rockstar Games. Looks extremely eerie but also interesting in another sense. The plot is still very much a secret and also its release date due to high Government opposition against it.Certainly not a game I would play. Would you play it ?

X Hero Siege 3.28 !

It has been quite a long time since I have played X Hero Siege on the Battle.netWell I tried look for games online and there are not many people hosting it anymore. After quite some time, there was X Hero Siege 3.28. I thought, wow I had already downloaded the map but did not have the chance to play it yet. What a good opportunity I thought.So we started playing the game in Extreme 6 mode. The game last until 5 minutes before we all got pawn. Serious delays for the host and noobs playing the game made X hero siege no so playable this time. Sim City Societies is coming !

EA games has just confirmed that the next installment of the SimCity series, SimCity Societies will be coming out on the PC in 2008. And gamers, expect the game to be different from the previous series.Apparently, Maxis would not be the ones developing the game but Tilted Mill Entertainment will be the guys in-charge of developing the game.That's the Simcity juice for the moment. I'll update when more info is released.

I really have problems with this one. I can't find any shop in Singapore or in New Zealand that sell Sim City 4000 ! Everyone says that the game is too old.I'm in need in retro games now and Sim City is an all time favourite.

Apparently news have just came out that the sequel to NiGHTS titled NiGHTS : Journey of Dreams is coming to the Nintendo Wii this year. Not exactly released date but sometime around Winter.This is a great news because NiGHTS is one of the best games ever made. I still have mine for the Saturn :)Looks like I will surely get the Wii. Will this news change your mind of your videogames system that you intend to buy ?

Welcome to our first retro flashback.One of the most memorable games in the Sega Saturn system was Guardian Heroes . Its 2d side-scrolling action game, which has rpg elements and combat in it. Depending on your choice of actions, you'll advance to different scenarios of the game and encounter different enemies. The different people you encounter would be available to you when you play the VS. mode. You can unlock about 45 different characters to play in a 8player deathmatch !I really love the gameplay and the concept of this game. I have not seen any other game quite like this since playing it. Owner's of the Sega Saturn would know what I am talking about as this is one of the finest game made in the Saturn system.Guardian Heroes is quite rare and highly priced among retro gamers. The last I checked in Ebay, the price for this game when up to around US$80, which is incredible. This together with the other great saturn games like Panzer Dragoon, Shining Force..etc.

Here's more info on the new Xbox 360 Elite . This video actually gives you first look and how the new Xbox looks like and more about its features. I'm particular interested with the black chrome finish. Very nice ! Not so much on the HDMI features though.(I don't have a HDTV )

This game that I have waited for such a long time, is finally out last week. And it is received rave reviews. But, I haven't got the game yet particularly because my machine now will not be able to handle the high-end graphics. So, watching its game play trailers was as far as I go at the moment.Even,just watching the game play. I can tell that this game rocks with superb graphics. The alien race really look something like Independence day. Cool.Has anyone got it yet ? How is it ?

Mario and Sonic would be featured together in a game for the first time ever.Can't say I like this match-up. Honestly, I have been always more of a Soni fan.Mario is just too... I really like X Hero Siege map. Would you mind answering me some question about that map?I play it for quite many times. I complete the "hero image" easily. But this is difficult to complete the "all hero image". Because if i buy tomes too soon and too high, I cannot complete that quest, cuz "all hero image" also increase either, they are godly strong and undefeatable. But if i dont buy tomes, I will become so weak. Hence, I easily die , and also cannot get the ring of supority or the lightning sword. So what can I do? Well I guess everyone wants to be in an elite exclusive club. Well, for US$479 you'll get to by owning a Xbox 360 Elite !Much much difference i would say. Just that the black chrome looks cooler and more like a PS3 plus 120gb hardisk (Who needs this much ?) and HDMI support.

I was looking around for more info on the new Death note game for the Nintendo DS. Its called Death note : Kira Game . The game plays with you choosing either Kira or L and the aim is to guess and outwit each other. Really interesting concept I thought and I seriously hope that the game would be as good as the anime.I couldn't find much info on the game. Include the screenshots of how the gameplay looks like. I'll keep on diggin, at the meantime check out the trailer that i found.

This blog have been quite popular for it's coverage on X Hero Siege, which is one of the best custom game out there for Warcraft 3. Due to the high enthusiasm on the latest version of X hero siege, I would like to host a round of X Hero Siege on the Battle.net, this Friday (26 January) at 1200 GMT. I can ensure you'll have a fun time with of course SlackoGame r. But please go easy on me. I may not be that pro because I'll be using a laptop to play. There is no numpad which makes life very troublesome. Well, I hope you'll join in the fun and if you are interest please put down your nicks on my comment page.
