The easiest and most complicated pet is the Chicken .To get the Chicken, you first must go to The Saldean's Farm in Westfall, Eastern Kingdoms. There you will see quite a few chickens running around; do not kill any of them.Now you must make a macro. It must consist of /chicken multiple times, I used it about 6 times in the macro. Now you must target a chicken and use your macro several times until you are then able to talk to the chicken. After talking to the chicken you will then receive a quest which will order you to go purchase a bag of Special Chicken Feed from Farmer Saldean who is located right next to the chickens in front of the house. After purchasing the feed just turn the quest in and the chicken will immediately turn into an egg which you have to hatch. 2007-12-18 02:08:00 Wow!I have a new preferred gold grinding area. This one owns. Here's why:First and foremost, these mobs drop valuable items frequently. I farmed this place for about four hours today and I earned at least 150 gold. But here's the kicker: I sold the loot too cheap! Several times my stacks were bought out within minutes of me placing them at the AH, even as I increased the price every time. They're obviously popular and easy to sell.Secondly, it's near a town and a grave yard. This is good if you get ganked (if you're on a PvP server obviously), or anytime you need to fly to a major city to sell your loot.Thirdly, the mobs are easy to kill (for a level 60 character). There are different locations where you can choose which mobs you want to fight; casters, ranged attackers, or meleers.Personally, I prefer the casters and meleers. I also got several major mana potions that I sell for 2.25-2.75 g a piece, some vendor trash, lots of coin (probably 12-15 g just in coin), a lot of rune... I tried doing long series of casts with and without heroism, but was unable to get any stable numbers out of them (since lag is crazy on the PTR) And the results I was getting didn't convincingly say whether or not the GCD was being violated. So then I turned to the easiest way to measure the GCD I can think of, to measure the cooldown on your spell buttons.Using my data gathering addon and the function GetSpellCooldown I was able to measure the cooldown active on a given spell. The way the function works is you feed it information identifying the spell, and it returns three values, a timestamp (using the GetTime() format, which is a measurements of seconds) representing the start of the cooldown, a float representing the duration of the cooldown, and a flag for whether or not the cooldown matters (or something like that).
