But i never really read his works with scrutiny until Now. I just finished reading SRI CHANAKYA NITI-SASTRA (The Political Ethics of Chanakya) .Niti is a sanskrit word for Wisdom/Ethics. Almost every ancient hindu literature has put a lot of emphasis on Niti. In a brief, they all say we should not let our thoughts be affected by others into doing something stupid.Chanakya takes it a step further with detailed verses about the political ethics to survive and rise in your life.Now there were some parts of this text that i didn't adhere to, but then i guess that can be comprehended as change in current social and cultural lifestyle and in his lifetime.What i like most about his work is that he is Practical rather than religiously orthodox. I must say Epic games has made considerable progress in unreal 3( Wikipedia has more details).I am now a complete fan of unreal 3 engine.It is this same engine being used with unreal tournament and Mortal Kombat 8. The trailer shows more locust, more blood and better game physics .The game physics like water splashes, object viscosity look damn real. Man this stuff gets better every time. I personally had one of the worst connections from BSNL , the problem was pretty lame. The connection would just die randomly and often ( within minutes). I did not had any good response from BSNL, except that they would send the line man every time to respond to my complain who would in turn just say that there was no disturbance in my connection.But one day by serendipity, i found the solution to my connection woes. Grub today told me about this same problem with his connection. I told him to try this solution, and it worked for him.So if you have a BSNL dataone connection, and if adsl link just goes off every few minutes i.e. your connection dies off, then you can probably try this solution.Most dataone connections work using a splitter, with one end of wire going to telephone and other to your computer. 2007-12-31 13:47:00 31st december 2007This year is almost over.So what did i learn this year ? Nothing really. I realized sycophancy and cheap values still rule the world. People hardly care about others.Many find happiness in other's pain. But I realized that there are still few good people out there, people who help others and whom you can call friends. But unfortunately they are occupied with their own misery.Well i wish a better year to them. For me , well this is the year that decides my career. Of course the decision is mine. I'm still confused, but i am sure i would find something cool out in time.Me ? well as some people say I'm lazy. Some say I'm crazy. I guess i would always be , that's just me.I also realized few of my many faults like I being rude to some people, I talking stupid all time etc . I realized criticism never helps. Dealing with Disabled administrative rights on windows xp
2007-12-13 16:09:00 One more trojan managed to get in my windows xp system due to my careless use of flash drive in college and well this one is way cooler than last one. Early this morning i realized it disabled my task manager, saying "Task manager has been disabled by administrator" .I tried to go in and manually change the registry key but Lucky me, this one was disabled too. Solution ?Windows xp pro has gpedit.msc (group policy editor), just entered it changed the administrative template settings for registry and ctrl+alt+del back to not configured(disabled works fine too).This one is the easiest solution, of course i looked up the registry back then for the entries by some malicious exe files for startup, found avmo.exe and avpo.exe and one more which i don't remember now. Delete these files.Reset the entries for startup. Well easy isn't it ? :DI found something new today though, gpedit.msc only works with windows xp pro. Malware chaos algssl.exe
2007-10-27 16:23:00 Recently i got myself a 2gig flash drive to get some more portability. But as uncle Ben says to Spiderman "With great portability comes a greater risk of malware!".That was precisely my case. Almost all common malware these days spread through Portable drives(win32.usb ) as much as they do through emails.My case , its an algssl.exe . I had to overcome my laziness finally to see through it . I tried Webroot's Spyware remover and SpyBot S&D(with latest updates) but none of them detected this one, of course they were real good in finding tracking cookies :) And i must say i really like Teatimer.exe with SpyBot. It really doesn't let the spyware edit entries back into registry ones i set the rules, which did not work same with Ccleaner. Conclusion?! I had to deal with it manually. I ran some tests to find as much about this algssl.exe as i could, google helped greatly. Normally, i find people talking to each other or deeply involved in something like a mobile phone or a religious text. Also bungie development team announced that the game features were complete and now the game would enter the bug fixing phase.Multiplayer got loads of weapons and driving that mongoose around the map would be sure fun. The trailers too are pretty vague for now.. Xbox 360 has a huge list of promised titles, and this is just one in the many in the release list for Xbox 360 . The game for Xbox 360 should be released along the movie in July .
