Audition Philippines 1st Competition
2007-04-06 10:58:00 On the 19th of November, 2006, 5 in the afternoon of Sunday, Audition Philippines (AuditionPH) held its first AuditionPH Contest. It was held on the last day of the Hataw! Hanep! HERO! Anime Convention where the game's Philippine publisher is the top sponsor/partner.There were thirty players who signed up, enough to create five groups for the elimination round (six players each group). The elimination round setup was Normal Individual mode with a Random (Easy) song setting.The winners for the quick elimination (in the alphabetical order): ayachii, DDRmaniac, Naksyo, orlanix, and Seraphim (yours truly). Then the finals...The final round was setup in the Choreography mode with the song setting of Random All. Winners are taken if they acquire two wins. After that, all "win" scores are reset and the second winner is again taken with two wins, until there are a total of three winners.The first winner is ayachii, winning two consecutive wins. My first Perfect x9 Combo
2007-04-06 10:57:00 I am very happy today that I got my first Perfect x9 Combo . Now my next objective is to go x10 or more. Slowly practicing my Perfects, 8k (ie 8keys), and Chance mode.I also made a lot of Den today because of consecutive Perfects and wins with the NPC Challenge. Now I don't want to leave AuditionSEA but sadly the time is nearing for me to move to AuditionPH.Anyway, here's the screenshot.(Note: I posted 2 screenshots, 1 from C|Net's WebShots and the other one from Yahoo!'s Flickr. How to Battle the NPCs?
2007-04-06 10:56:00 Here are some of the tricks players have confirmed when having a Battle with the NPCs.1) Continous misses or if there are two or more players who miss at the same time, the NPC starts to do Perfect Chains, which is deadly to most.2) The use of "Chance" must yield Perfect combos for it to be effective. Non-perfect Chances are useless.3) The DJ must not use "Chance" or the NPC will also use "Chance" with a higher percentag of getting Perfect Chains as well.If you win, the your total score is the Den reward you will get. Competiting with the NPC is very fun and challenging. For one, it requires lots of Perfect Chain combos, and two, it requires a good group of players.So go login and defeat those NPCs!!PS. This is the best way to acquire thousands of Dens - if you win that is.
