I have been doing a bit of work using Windows systems lately and they annoyingly lack so many features, especially when it comes to working with different file formats. It’s a real pain to work with old Bills software instead of good old Linux.

HINDRAF Rally Aftermath
2007-11-30 10:07:00
I would like to congratulate the people who dared turn up for the HINDRAF rally in Kuala Lumpur recently.  I think you all did a great job, apart from the very few people who turned a bit violent.  But from what I have heard it was most likely either justified or in self defense.

Rh Disease Ruled Out?
2007-10-05 09:14:00
We have not had a test done for Rh Disease , even though it is the most common cause of Fetal Hydrops (Hydrops fetalis).  When thinking about it, I can’t remember why it has not  been done other than the fact that a few  doctors ruled it out as they did not “think  it was Rh disease”. This is not good enough, especially as th e tests for Thalassemia came back negativ e.

DNA Testing For Thalassemia / Lennox?s Case
2007-09-27 21:41:00
There is no cure for thalassemias, and the best treatment available today consists of frequent blood transfusions (every two to three weeks) with iron chelation therapy (e.g. deferoxamine) administered subcutaneously. Bone marrow transplants (hematopoietic stem cell transplantations) and cord blood transplantation with pre-operative myeloablation are potentially curative, though the latter requires further investigation. Manually Repair Broken Blocks In Drupal

Quite a few times I have had to manually repair MySQL databases in Drupal installs because new PHP code in a block is crashing. When you add a block written in PHP it may behave differently to when you have tested it outside of the CMS because of the way Drupal works.
