kju: setting sun my good old friend tobi hartwig (vocal) quits design and now invests his time in music. setting sun is the newest kju album, which i really can recommend to you. finest emo-rock from hanover/germany. after enjoying “The Pieces Fit” and “Draw Lines On” they made a new spectacular album - with several good songs. my favorite songs: “Water and a Sewer” “Apnea” “Anything, Anything” god damned - for this album i spent my first money at itunes…support them by buying this fabulous album. before spending money, you can listen to all songs on the kju-website or just enjoy the static-video below:

conceptshare.com - one of my favorite (web 2.0) tools on the web for us designers the design process is almost a long & hard trail and it´s not easy to involve (in a visual way) customers in early stages of processing - sending pdf´s or jpg´s is always an unsecure (perhaps unprofessional) way. gluing layouts on paper, send it per mail and waiting for feedback is time intensive (but i really like old school presentations…). at the end customer scripts on presentation causes me to desperation. years ago i was thinking about developing an flash-based presentation-plattform with secured user logins, comment functionality etc.. my exit-strategy was right…why? check out conceptshare.com conceptshare is an interactive flash-based application that you and your participants can use to engage in synchronous or asynchronous conversations about and around visual designs. anyone can add comments and each comment layer can contain drawings or markups directly on the image...

georgiew.de today i want to recommend the new outstanding flash-website of nikolaj georgiew - an international photographer and musicclip director. my friends ulf germann - (screendesigner at neue digitale) and jens franke (freelancer & flash-professional - please book him!) collaborated and developed this bomb-shocking website - design and code is as always excellent. awesome work. 10 points my friends!
