A brand is a symbolic embodiment of all the information connected to a company, product or service. 3. Brand recognition and other reactions are created by the accumulation of experiences with the specific product or service, both directly relating to its use, and through the influence of advertising, design, and media commentary. So for the rest of the article when I say branding I will be using it to describe these ideas. These ideas of branding are generic and could be used to describe almost any business. Logo Theft!

If I had to choose one site that I visit the most it would be SimpleBits. Dan Cederholm is the founder and mastermind behind the company. His portfolio is amazing and his design is perhaps as good as it gets.Quite simply I love his site and his work is amazing, But like everyone that makes it to the top, there are going to be people that steal your ideas and your designs. Unfortunatly for Dan it was someone stealing his logo and rather blantently in my opionon. So go to SimpleBits look at his logo and then go to Dan’s flicker site and look at the picture, blatent copy. I went Logo Maid and looked for the logo there, but didn’t easily find it, not to say its not still there. It makes me mad when people do this kind of thing, it seems that people really will do anything to make the almighty dollar. Any thoughts on this? Tags: simplebits, logo theft, logomaid, design, logo

Review 4: SmartWealthyRich This is a well developed blog that I visit all the time. I couldn’t help but say a quick yes when Jonathan asked me to review his blog in exchange for a review on his site. The thing that I like best about his site is the amount of excellent information and great content that he has written about. Even if your a problogger I guarantee there is something to be learned on his blog. Design: Solid and simple three column layout. Everything is easy to find and seems to be in the right spot.
